Help with ZIP/GSX STDFile crashes
In order to get my latest GS up and running, I need some help.
I bought the computer used. The guy in Florida sent me everything
but the darned system disk that comes withthe ZIP GS.
I played around with the card and managed to even figure out what all
the dip switches are supposed to be used for!!!! FTAZipCDA really
helped big time!!!
My problem is now, that I have this wonderful 9.00 mhz/32k ZipGS
up and running perfectly.
Why does it always crash when opening a file from a StdFileDialog????
The fix for me so far is that when I open any file or folder. I go and
kick the cpu down to 0.00mhz in the FTAZipCDA and do the opening and
loading of the file(s). Ie. SoniqTracker/Modzap/AWGS Then go back and
kick the cpu up to 9.00 again until next load time.
Any Clues????
Is this normal???? Is there a fix?????
Would anyone have a copy of the ziputil disk I could borrow?????
I do have the manual!! But that was pretty useless after reading it.
Like I said, it works great except for that one exception.
Any help greatly appreciated.
