1) Learn to cut your lines of text off a little before 80 cols; it
makes requoting them much easier. If you're in emacs, hit meta-Q (hit
escape then Q for those of you not on nice terminals) every little
bit to clean up things....
2) Error $0027 is in older terms, an I/O (input/output) error. That
means that there's a problem on your disk. It could be that there's
bad disk media, bad file structures, or something else. If you have
a copy of ProSEL-8 or ProSEL-16, use either the 'Mr. Fixit' on the
ProSEL-8 side or the Volume Repair on the ProSEL-16 side. They should
be able to detech any problems, and maybe fix/get around them.
This may be a sign that things are bad; you might want to boot off
another disk, manually delete the system software, and reinstall it.
That might help. If it keeps happening, start crossing your fingers...
