Bah. Failures will always occur at the one point where you cannot
recover gracefully. I firmly believe in Murphy's Law.
I'll stick to udl; rebuilding hard drives from scratch has taught me
caution. Of course, directory recusion for udl would be nice ...
Another nice thing about udl; it's source is very portable. Any delays
when running on a Sun 4 are inconsequential.
