ZipGS and RamFAST Questions

My name is Gayle Holt, an educator in Tennessee.

My problem is this.  I have an Apple ][gs with 4 meg of RAM and 240 megs of 
hard drive space with TONS of inits and DA's installed on the System Folder
.  When I boot the machine, it takes it a good while to boot up everything.

I have heard about the accelerators such as the ZipGS and high performance 
SCSI interfaces like the RamFAST, yet I don't know which one will speed up 
what.?

Will someone please tell me exactly what the RamFAST speeds up and exactly 
what the ZipGS speeds up?  Also, could someone tell me which one will speed 
up my booting time...

Information concerning this will be greatly appreciated.
