Sorry if this is a repost....
(didn't look like my 1st message got out.)
I am an apple neophite and acquired a "Laser 128"
This looks like a large aaple ][c style clone.
It has a 5c802 cpu and 128K dram with a empty daughter card
that has 4 banks of 16? pin sockets. (do these hold 256Kx1 drams?)
there are
2 5pin din serial ports (labeled ser#1 and ser#2/mouse)
a db-20? style disk port
a db-25? style video port
a db-25 style parallel port
a db-15? style joystick port
a composite video out
a stereo earphone jack w/ volume knob (on the right)
a "BUS" expansion connector (on the left)
a 5" drive (on the right)
a keyboard w/ numeric pad & 40/80 switch, serial/parallel switch & 3 LEDS
takes 15VDC on a 7 pin din plug. (missing power brick :( )
(had to hack a wall wart xformer to ~17VDC)
it boots the couple of apple disks that I had.
--------
what are the features of this beast, where can I get a copy
of documentation for it...?
Is the power brick plug compatible with a ][c?
can you plug in a 3" drive from an old mac into the drive connector?
where can I get some real boot disks...? (w/ "DOS" utilities...)
thanks..
