Most things are old technology. That's never been the issue. You don't need
a spaceship to get from Toronto to Montreal. The GS is a very capable 
computer for most things that people use computers at home for. I do have
the "dough" to upgrade the GS, but it never crossed my mind to ever use it
as a IIe. I can't stand computers with poor sound. The IIe has poor sound.
