Prodos 1.0 (and 1.0.1, 1.0.2) will run on 48k, if you apply a
small patch. If not, you'll ruin your disk directory structure!

ProDOS 1.1 and higher won't work with less than 64k, because
the relocater is gone.

You can get patches for ProDOS 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 from anon ftp:
ftp.uni-kl.de:/pub/apple2/doc/prodos_patches.doc

People may be interested in additional patches for 40 tracks:
ftp.uni-kl.de:/pub/apple2/doc/prodos_40track.doc

Someone else asked for a ProDOS version, that will run on
clones. Unfortunately, all ProDOS versions check the 'APPLE ]['
(or 'Apple //e' or whatever) sign in the ROMs. If your clone
starts with a "BANANA2" or "CVF 777" or "READY GO" sign, ProDOS
jumps into never-never-land.
