Don't worry Soenke, I got you covered in the man page...   :)   udl
is more careful about which files it processes (it limits to src, txt,
and bin files), and automatically determines if the src is msdos, unix,
or apple EOL...  next version of utp will limit to certain types of files
too.  For pure speed, utp blows them away though. :)  

Let me also add that utp/lf2cr has never failed for me.

Speaking of losing a file, awgs just did it on me:

-rw-brd 8010 $50         0 Apr 17 01:10 short.story

My friend who is a very slow typist had just spent several hours typing it
up on my IIgs.  When she tried to save it for one last time (and then was
gonna print it), awgs bombed with "serious error has occured, reboot!",
and the file became 0 blocks.  I think the data is still there, is there
an easy way to recover it?
