Yes I recall the argument, but then you might as well include Mac LC's. The
idea is to get rid of the GS association with 8-bit systems. Many computers
can run AppleII software. There are emulators all over. The AppleII association
has been bad for the GS. It almost like the obsession in PC's with remaining
compatible with the 8088.

True. I think you'd find most traffic in a GS group. After all the gno and othergroups are mainly for GS users anyway. One reason why I have a hard time with 
this group is simply that I have never had an AppleII ( I have 2 GS's). I know
this is almost an unacceptable statement, but I fail to see what people ever sawin them. Poor sound, graphics, etc...The C64 was andis better. The only
difference is that a lot of very talented and very nice people gravitated
towards the AppleII. I guess that's important, but I still want the GS group,
similar to GS+ magazine.
