Well first off there is a lot of competition in this area in the Mac
market. I am kind of surprised that AE spent so much effort on
accelerators and didn't bring out some other kinds of Mac peripherals.
Anyway, the other problem that AE faced was the Quadra 605. When
someone could get a brand new 68040 based Mac for $700, AE's accelerators
didn't seem quite as desirable.
