    Sounds like the typical knee-jerk reaction from most people.  For
day-to-day operations, I don't see much difference with the 6100-60 and,
say, an LC 475.  Of course, it will only get better once we start seeing
some native applications, but speed isn't the only issue here.  It isn't
clear (to borrow a Philip McD'ism) whether the PowerMacs will support
alternative OS's.  I will personally wait for the 604's and for the OS
situation to mature.  Why limit yourself to System 7 and SoftWindows?
