Uploading with Zmodem. Until now, I'd only tried Zmodem downloading.

Using my old cable, the Zmodem upload appeared to go fine. However, it
didn't go fine at all. Only 1.2k was transfered from a 70k file.

Looks like I'll be calling InTrec to get a High Speed Handshaking Cable.

In my little survey, several people did respond. The most poignant
email stated the case pretty well. The person said that he couldn't
transfer files on his 14.4 using his old modem cable. As soon as he used
the high speed handshaking cable, all the problems disappeared.

Case closed. If you get a 14.4 modem, get a high speed handshaking cable.
