An addendum to my previous posting:

Today I used my Quantum 240MB drive (partitioned on my Apple HS SCSI
card) on a RamFAST SCSI card for the first time.  It worked perfectly.
I don't know what version of software was running in the RamFAST, but
I think it was an old version (2.1 perhaps?).
