I haven't verified with an OctoRam but you should be able to use a 7 MB or
8 MB OctoRam on either a ROM 01 or 03 IIgs.  You should know that total
memory above 8 MB will not be recognized due to hardware design
limitation.  I have a fully populated 8 MB CVRam card installed in a 1 MB
ROM 03 IIgs for a total of 9 MB.  Only 8 MB are recognized by the IIgs.
