No problem. Just make sure that your UniDisk is first in your drive
chain (i.e.-plug the unidisk into your IIc, and then the external 5.25,
if you have one, into the UniDisk. To boot from the UniDisk, just make
sure that you have a bootable disk in the drive (obviously), and make
sure that the built-in drive is empty. Your UniDisk will map to Slot 5,
Drive 1 (or drive 2 if you get another one :)

I'm sure I'm repeating myself, but the ONLY 3.5 drive that will work with
the IIc is the UniDisk 3.5. If you want to use an Apple 3.5 you need a
IIc+, IIgs, or IIe with appropriate controller card.

I think you can format high-density disks as double-density, but why
would you want to? They are more expensive.
