I can't imagine getting anything other than Apple hardware myself. Don't know
of any other manufacturer whose machines will network with my ten year old //e
and seven year old IIgs for sharing files, and I've never seen another brand
of laser printer to which I can print with Appleworks on my //e. I think I'll
resist the urge to buy a 601 machine or put the processor upgrade card in my
Quadra though, and see what comes out next.
