3.5" disk recommendations?

Hi all!

I have a //c (ROM version 3) that I just acquired and am considering putting
an external 3.5" disk drive on it.  I am very new to this 
home computer stuff (but learning fast!) and have no idea
what a good drive would be or what software is needed to 
run it.  I am interested in the most storage per disk I can
get (big shocker) but not interested in lots of interfaces 
and such.  Anyone care to add their 0.02?

Also thanks to everyone that answered my first plea for 
an education concerning this machine.  I am really enjoying
learning about it.
