Accessing Appleshare volumes under ProDOS 8...

Hi,
I have a //gs hooked up to a mac which I am using as a fileserver.
It works great under gs/os, and the mounted volumes are still there if
I run a P8 app from gs/os. My question, is how would one mount appleshare
volumes when running just p8? It must be possible, because //e's can be
on networks. My //gs always boots into p8, then into an applesoft basic
program which will either quit to p8, or run gs/os. I use this when
running things like proterm, so there is less processor overhead. I
would like to be able to download/upload to/from the appleshare volumes,
and this is only possible currently if I run proterm from gs/os. What
I would like is a way to automatically (or manually) mount appleshare
volumes from p8. I know p8 will automatically execute a file called
'ATINIT' in the root directory of your boot partition, if it exists.
Is this how the above is accomplished, and if so, where does one get
this ATINIT file? I'm sure someone with a //e and a workstation card]
must be able to answer this question. Thanks!

BTW, will a workstation card work in a //gs?
