Sounds like your previous problems were hard drive related. Optimizing
your drive should have taken care of the booting problems from that drive.
Suggest you start removing any recently installed inits and DAs and
start rebooting then launching ProTerm. You should find the culprit.
Writing down the crash codes could help further.
Let me know if this works. There are a couple of other things to try
later.
