Please help: MMI DAC board for Apple ][+

Hi folks,

My wife is using an old (is there any other kind? :-) ) Apple ][+ in her
piano teaching lab (you wouldn't believe the amount of music education 
software that's available for the ][+). Much of the software requires
an optional sound card called an "MMI DAC Board". Could someone please
tell me what exactly this is? Is there any place I could get my hands
on one? Anyone have one that's not being used? It would be going to a
nice home.
