Actually, "MouseDesk" (or "Apple II Desktop") work just fine on
my unenhanced 128k Apple //e, though you need Double-Hi-Res graphics
supported. You can load it up off a single-sided 5.25 floppy disk, but
you won't have any room for desk accessories (not to be confused with
GS CDA/NDA Desk Accessories, even though they both work from the Apple
menu). A mouse is pretty much needed too, but then again, Quinn said
he wanted an 8-bit shell, not GUI -- shells are usually CLIs.. ;-)
