I almost had the opposite problem... When the GS had been turned off
for a while, it had some problems getting started... After about 10 minutes
of constant rebooting and power cycling, things went fine. One day, when I
needed to open up my GS (seeing about upgrading my Zip), I decided to
flip the DIP switch on the RamFAST (Dip 01 on Rev C, but I may be off;
don't sue me; read the manual!), that controls the termination power.
Since then, I haven't had a single problem whatsoever.
