I have been asked by a friend to help her transfer her AppleWriter files to
the IBM PC she just bought. I know one way I can do it is simply by
uploading the files to some UNIX box via a modem and then download them
from from the UNIX box using the PC. However if there are a lot of files
that could be a tedious task. I thought I remember hearing that there
was a device driver you could install in the CONFIG.SYS that would allow
you to read Apple// disks on your PC. If that is the case maybe I could
simply do a MSDOS copy?!
Does anyone have any experience with this sort of task? Any input would be
appreciated.
