Yes.  You need an adaptor cable to connect the IDC-20 connector on the
Disk ][ to the daisy-chain connector on the back of the Apple 5.25 Drive.

I believe the adaptor is available from Alltech Electronics.

The pinout of the opposite version of the adapator (for connecting an
Apple 5.25 Drive to a Disk ][ Controller card) was in one of the 1985
issues of A2-Central (then called Open-Apple).

Note that you can't connect more than two 5.25" drives to the IIgs's
drive port (e.g. one Apple 5.25 Drive and one Disk ][).
