Discount brokerage software

I understand that Charles Schwab, the discount broker, has software that
enables a user to make stock transactions via modem, like can be done with
punching the telephone dial using their TELEMARKETER service.

Does anyone have any experience using the modem software.  It has the
advantages of being able to see your homework before you "send" the
transaction as well as being able to get a hard copy of what is on your
screen.
