Re: Applewriter 1.0 conversion utility?



Here's a little follow-up on my problem.  My friend sent me a couple of the
problem files by modem.  I looked them over with a block editor and they are
indeed high ascii, stored as a binary file.  There seems to be some header
bytes preceding the actual text as well.  I will try the Control Q suggestion
tonight and hopefully that will work.  Apparently these were originally
DOS 3.3 files but were copied onto a Prodos disk using Copy II+.  I may have
to put them back onto DOS 3.3 to get the ^Q idea to work.
