I have said this once and I will say it again the $95.00 WDC chip IS
rated at 10 Mhz don't belaibe me call WDC for your self. That includes
the sanyo chip! My friend has a least 20 of those $95.00 chips and
they say "-10" meaning they are rated at 10Mhz BUT are pushed to speeds
past 10 Mhz. Even WDC forces you to read a file regarding the chip and
how you cab 'push' it pas 10 Mhz! just finished talking to one of the
first few persons to get a Zip running at 14 Mhz and verified my
information regarding your so called "14mhz" rated chip. As a matter
of fact he has a "65816E" and a few other buds of mine have more of those
and I have the actual production model of that one rated at "-10" but I
am running it at 14Mhz! Sure we had to increase the voltage, sure we had
to change the logic chips and add some caps and cut a few traces. I know
all this by experience not just reading FAQ's! Don't beliave me, call WDC
and ask for a 14Mhz rated chip, and they will send you a "-10" not a "-14"
It costs US$95.00 weather you get a "-6" or a "E" or "-10" (which is the
production model!

I do not need the faq, I have mine at 15Mhz and there are some things
on that FAQ that need to be updated which I am not about to go into
details!
