You can get a small Finder extension (umm, caled Synth Init if I remember
right) to play it.  For play backs, you do not need any MIDI device, just
need to have the MIDI Synth Tool in your */system/tools folder.

I dunno if Synth Init can handle the large sequences, but Dave Tribby
(the guy who converted and posting the sequences) released a shell
utility called SynthFile which does a good job.  There might be other
players (maybe FinderView?  Or Eye, both Finder extensions).

ps, NoiseTracker GS doesn't play MIDI synth sequences...
