Just what is the specs on the Terminator deal on hard drives? I've been
told that on a chain of SCSI drives that only the end devices should be
Termed, one being the computer and the other the last drive on the chain.
And I was told that you should take off the resistor packs on the hard
drives inbetween. Now I have 7 Hard drives hooked up to a Apple HS SCSI
card, and everyone of them has there resistor packs on. I Have tried it
with them off also, and it still seems to not make a difference. I've found
it easier to just leave them on, as i'm constantly changing out drives and
working on new ones. if I continue to leave the R-Packs on, am I looking
forward to trouble? Just what is the deal? and why. thanks in advance.
