Hmm...floating-point benchmarks would be useless since the Apple II
doesn't (usually) have an FPU installed; floating-point math is
usually handled by (1) the ROM-based BASIC interpreter, (2) SANE, or
(3) routines written by a programmer for a specific job.  As for
integer benchmarks...don't know about those, but I think someone
pegged the II's speed at about 0.3 MIPS, when running at 1 MHz.  (It'd
be neat to build a "MIPS meter" sometime and hook it up to the
instruction-fetch pin on the CPU to see what happens. :-) )
