What? I own a Mac. I do not and never have owned a GS. BUT I know this
statement is totally bogus. 4-voice 8-bit sound does not an ensoniq make!

I am very skeptical. The PowerPC is a great chip, but not God. That DSP
does a lot of work. I have a real hard time believing a PowerPC can
perform the functions of the dedicated DSPs with only a "very minor speed hit."
50% I could believe.
