One possibiilty would be to create an .info/ directory in each file
directory. Inside would be verbose descriptions of the files in the
parent directory. E.g.: ./.info/brandenburg-concerto-4.shk would be a
text file with a long description of the actual SHK.
BTW, on the Amiga, there is something called the Amiga Download Tool
(ADT). It is basically an alternative FTP program which is hard coded
to connect with certified AmiNet sites. These sites all share the same
directory structure, file naming conventions, info file locations, etc.
The ADT program is then able to present a very friendly, full screen
interface to that site. You just highlight the files you want and hit a
key to begin downloading. Perhaps we should look into a similar utility
for the grind site.
