If you don't need compatibilty with a normal 3.5" floppy, you might want to
consider a magneto optical 3.5" disk drive.  Each disk holds 128 MB, but you
can't use a normal 3.5" disk in it.  You can get the Fujitsu DynaMO 128MB 
for $900.00.  That's just twice the price of a floptical for six times the
storage!  You get one disk and the SCSI cable.  I have one on my GS, and it
works great!  It is even faster than my hard drive.
