    It will be quite a bit of work at the beginning, but once the
backlog's been cleared out, it just takes one person to update the
database for new uploads.  We're not getting dozens of new files
everyday or anything like that...

    I want to try a similar idea for the io.org FTP site (whenever the
Apple II section is restored).  Long descriptions might be too much
work, but I think a one-liner would be doable.  Because I use long
filenames on io.org, I figure each entry will look something like:

Filename/description                Uploaded      Size
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
brandenburg-concerto-4.shk          94/01/08    247839
    Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 4 (converted by Dave Tribby)

[etc.]
