What can one say? So much vaporware. You gave yourself away with the 1995
prediction for Taligent. As for all the emulation, we shall just have to
wait and see as you are describing vaporware. Windows NT has gone nowhere
and using a DSP for an answering machine/fax modem/etc...jus doesn't make
any sense to me at this time. I can get a $30 answering machine and faxmodems
are inexpensive.
I don't see Apple offering anything appealing in your vapor press release. Let'ssee a multitasking OS, and don't bring up Taligent. The PowerPC's place in
the world is unclear. IBM has not done wonders with its RS6000's which is
essentially what we are talking about, and seamless emulation is fine for
all 2 of those well written apps.
