I was just trying out printing to my Laserwriter NTR with Appleworks 3.0 on
my //e. You need a workstation card to network to a laserwriter, then you
download the Imagewriter emulator to the laserwriter and print to it just as
if it were an imagewriter.
Provided you are talking about a postscript printer which is networkable with
localtalk, it should work the same. You get all the software you need with the
workstation card.
I don't have AW 4.0 yet so that's the most help I can give
