I read an earler message about super hires and double-hires. The guy who wrote the message said something about them both being the same. With the noteable difference of color, I guess this answers your first question. On my 816 Paint, I can port from my //e to a IIGS. There is an 816 Paint for the IIGS also, but I understand that there is some really hot paint programs for the IIGS.
