Anyone remember Sundog?

Back in the mid-80s I bought a brand-new Atari 520 ST, to replace my
well-worn Atari 800 and to play a game called Sundog.

Does anyone remember who made that game and/or whether it is available for
any other platforms (preferably the IBM PC)?  I know it was also available
for the Apple II, but has been discontinued (stores will tell me that, but
not the name of the company that made it).

Any information would be greatly appreciated, I miss that game.
