Wishing for a Program!

ok, now, i know that Appleworks seems to be the answer to this question
but with all the problems i hear about AW i really dont care to divuldge
into such a buggy program :>

here's what i would like... A simple Database file i can use while in GS/OS
to be able to change sizes of fields etc... 

I just got my Ham ticket, and i would like to start getting all these
call letters, names and addresses into a database instead of a million 
peices of paper cluttering my computer desk..

is there a program for the GS that does just Database? if so, could 
someone lead me to it? thanks..
