Hi...
I recently got a new hard drive for my Mac and moved my old one
to my IIGS (no more floppies!). Here's my problem--I updated
my ProDOS 8 file to version 2.0.1 and my BASIC.SYSTEM to 1.5.
Now, whenever I run an 8-bit program off the hard drive, the
system speed is set (by ProDOS, I assume) to Fast even though
the control panel has it set to normal. Is there any way
around this (a bit of BASIC code would be nice!)
This speed increase is *really* annoying with old games--ones
that date back from the early 80's/late 70's.
I have a ROM 01 GS with the Apple High Speed SCSI card in slot
7, but I don't think that should affect anything.
Thanks for the help,
Christopher Cole
