My understanding is that the IIc memory expansion card will NOT work with
the IIc+. I think it had something to do with the fact that the IIc+ is
faster than the IIc and the card wasn't designed to handle the extra
speed. The connectors are the same,though. So you could plug it in and
see what happens. Actually, I just thought of a related question. I
wonder if the IIc memory expansion card would work on a IIc that had a
ZipChip installed? Anybody have this configuration? Does it work? If
it does, then I would think the card should work fine on a IIc+, unless
there is something else going on.
I have a AE RamExpress II in my IIc+. I like it better than the Apple
card. It is smaller and uses 256x4 chips (2 chips = 256k), so may
produce less heat. It also has a clock built in. I don't think AE makes
these anymore, however. You may be able to find one used.
