The Prometheus Versacard is a combination parallel, serial, clock and BSR
(X-10) interface card. The physical slot that the card was placed in became a
serial port... the other functions were 'phantomed' to other slots selected by
DIP switch settings.
Since functions are phantomed, the Versacard probably won't work on a GS. If
more info is desired, I could probably dig up the manual.
