Based on my experience I can say that you will lose the foreign language the
way you used to type it -with the black switch-; however, it will still be
available with a different key-mapping -you'll have to press all keys to
find out what they represent-. In other words, your keyboard will not
represent the actual keymapping of the motherboard. In my case I replaced a
Mexican board with the American version and all letters have the same
mapping, as well as most symbols. It is less than keys with different
mapping.
