I looked into this problem a little bit many years ago. The problem
I saw in writing a program was how to tell your printer (an Imagewriter II
in my case) to flush its buffer after every character. I gave up on it.

(Granted I didn't have a great deal of programming knowledge back then!)

I hope someone would hack something up. Being able to fill out forms on my
printer would be great!
