AOL, Genie, etc access II

I may not have been explicit enough in my "AOL, GEnie and AppleLink gates" 
message posted previously.
 
What I actually want to know is whether I can posibly  _sign on_ to any of 
those services via the Internet.
 
I am sure I can sign on to Compuserve via the "nanaimo" telnet site.
(telnet: <crc.sd68.nanaimo.bc.ca> and/or <134.87.120.1>, UserId: GUEST). 
You will then be asked your userid and password which you will feed in provided 
you have prepaid the access charge.
Something analogous is what I want to find out about the other services.
 
As for the e-mail access of the other services, it is as follows:
USERNUMBER@compuserve.com 
USERNAME@aol.com 
USERNAME@applelink.apple.com 
USERNAME@genie.geis.com
