Nope.  The EP jumper enables parity checking.  The SS enables a self
seek test (if this is enabled when the drive is turned on, you will
hear the drive constantly seek across the entire disk).

Damn.  I forgot what WS does.  It might tell the drive to wait and not
spin up immediately.

None of these should be set when connecting to an Apple.
