HardPressed + LZSS [2nd try]

[ Don't know if my first attempt made it out... trying again. ]

A few (two or three) people have had some really weird problems where
the LZSS module of HardPressed has apparently caused their files to be
corrupted. Turns out that, if everything is set up just right, the LZSS
module can eat files.

There's a simple bug fix that can be applied by replacing the LZSS module
with a new one. When I've verified that I haven't introduced any new
problems I'll upload it to comp.binaries.apple2.

This will probably be part of HP v1.0.3. HP v1.0.2 had a fix to the INIT
(for people who use GNO and do "cat >> compressed_file"), and a replacement
adaptive Huffman module. I haven't done an updater for updates beyond v1.0.1
yet, but both will be available from WestCode for $5 soon.

In the mean time, you should turn "verify" on. It *will* catch the
problem and protect your data. The bug has existed since v1.0, and there
have been very few reports of problems (and usually people who have their
files hosed have LOTS of files hosed... it seems to be all-or-nothing).
