Greetings Elias. I don't remember seeing you here before in c.s.a2. I hope
that SSII #3 (and #2 and #1 before that) arrived safely.

In any case, right after the LaserJet 4L came out, I asked Bill Heineman if
the 4L would work with the Harmonie drivers from Vitesse. He said it would;
just choose the LJ III driver.

Now...I have a question about the 4L (actually 2 of them) that I haven't
been able to get any anaswers for, yet...

The 4L is expandable to 2 megabytes. HP though says that through some type
of feature or enhancement that those 2 megs of RAM work as if 4 megs of RAM
are installed. My question is...does that apply to the IIGS?

The other question has to do with the built-in image resolution enhancement.
Reading HP's literature about that, it makes it seem as if the 4L smooths
graphics. From what I understand, it'll somehow smooth pixels. Again...the
question is...does this also work with an Apple IIGS?

Thanks in advance, and welcome, Elias, to c.s.a2.
