As Dan Brown mentioned, it can communicate with Unix systems, but using
our uMDSS software instead of UUCP.  This is a good thing, because uMDSS
is a lot more efficient on an Apple than UUCP could be.  For example, my
stock IIGS gets about 1100cps average throughput through uMDSS, but my
high speed Mac only gets about 800cps with UUCP-g, which cannot be done
on e Apple II.

Bummer not.  ProLine is $159, so you can take that other ~$140 you've
been saving and spend it on your wife or girlfriend (or both) :-).
