Oh well. We _were_ lucky with 6.0.1, considering that Apple dropped the
"development" of the //GS long before that (development meaning bringing
out new and enhanced versions of the machine).

A decision was made by Apple, and I guess it hurt Apple more than anybody
else (eventual loss of K12 market segment). However, the 6.0.1 team is
not to be blamed for it, quite on the contrary. So if you wish to bash
anyone (although I see no point in that either), try to find out who
the responsible persons were for deciding that the // line had not
future.
